- No they don't have to be left aligned. While this may be the
- Windows95 standard, it is not the Amiga standard at this time. In
- any case, this is =really= unimportant. (And personally, I prefer
- them control aligned.)

- Considering that there is at least one page in the Mac HIG that
- recommends the use of the word "mixed", I don't agree. When a
- text field should contain mixed values, we leave it blank. When
- a list gadget should contain mixed values, we intend to insert
- "Mixed" (sometimes with a suffix string) as appropriate. We
- started on this change in 3.0i but as the readme.now file for 3.0i
- stated, it's a work in process.

- We didn't change anything to "Mixed" that used to be blank. We did
- change a lot of the "As Is" strings and are still working on them.
- (A =much= more important issue is only showing "Mixed" when
- appropriate, rather than <As Is> all the time like we used to and
- still do in a lot of cases.)

- Someday we would like to make the Landscape checkbox actually
- reverse the width and height coordinates and then this will be more
- obvious, but this is =really= minor.
-
- We spend more time on interface than most companies, but please, I
- think the vast majority of our customers would prefer that we spend
- our time working on features rather than diddling with the alignment
- of controls.
