  18. No they don't have to be left aligned. While this may be the
  19. Windows95 standard, it is not the Amiga standard at this time. In
  20. any case, this is =really= unimportant. (And personally, I prefer
  21. them control aligned.)

  30. Considering that there is at least one page in the Mac HIG that
  31. recommends the use of the word "mixed", I don't agree. When a
  32. text field should contain mixed values, we leave it blank. When
  33. a list gadget should contain mixed values, we intend to insert
  34. "Mixed" (sometimes with a suffix string) as appropriate. We
  35. started on this change in 3.0i but as the readme.now file for 3.0i
  36. stated, it's a work in process.

  41. We didn't change anything to "Mixed" that used to be blank. We did
  42. change a lot of the "As Is" strings and are still working on them.
  43. (A =much= more important issue is only showing "Mixed" when
  44. appropriate, rather than <As Is> all the time like we used to and
  45. still do in a lot of cases.)

  53. Someday we would like to make the Landscape checkbox actually
  54. reverse the width and height coordinates and then this will be more
  55. obvious, but this is =really= minor.

  57. We spend more time on interface than most companies, but please, I
  58. think the vast majority of our customers would prefer that we spend
  59. our time working on features rather than diddling with the alignment
  60. of controls.
